Good News for Nigerian-Based Qualified Teachers !!!

From 1 February 2023, persons who have a valid teaching license from Nigeria will be able to obtain a Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) in England without taking extra courses. QTS is England’s equivalent of Nigeria’s teaching licence issued by TRCN.

This creates opportunities for teachers in Nigeria to access job opportunities without having to acquire any foreign qualifications at least for the first 4 years of arriving in the United Kingdom.
